{"id":305,"date":"2026-02-25T14:29:27","date_gmt":"2026-02-25T20:29:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/friendsapl.org\/?p=305"},"modified":"2026-03-02T12:13:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-02T18:13:05","slug":"we-have-a-new-building","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/friendsapl.org\/index.php\/2026\/02\/25\/we-have-a-new-building\/","title":{"rendered":"We Have A New Building!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>January 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The purchase of the Property was put off until February 2026 due to slight legal issues that simply needed more time for the back and forth of paperwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Friends of the Argyle Public Library, The Village Board of Argyle, and The Argyle Public Library Director\u2019s Board discussed memorandum\u2019s of understanding between each entity to ensure a harmonious transition to a new space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>January 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 2nd Annual Mystery Dinner Theatre was hosted by the Friends of the Argyle Public Library in conjunction with Argyle Community Park Foundation. With The Legacy opening up we were able to more than double attendance! The Corner Pub and Deli again provided a delicious meal. Community support surrounding this event was high, with many local business\u2019 chipping in for the bucket raffle. The cast and crew did a fantastic job to the appreciation (and much laughter) of the audience! We\u2019ve received some great feedback and are looking forward to next year.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>February 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Building officially belongs to Argyle!
